This month I have spent a lot of time researching new suppliers ~ I have a firm idea in my mind as to what my Summer collection is going to look like but the difficulty was in finding supplies that I knew were going to be good enough.  Luckily I have a contact in the U.S. who sells the most beautiful range of semi-precious stones which are also of very high quality.  However, there was one large fly in the ointment ~ a volcano in Iceland decided to erupt so my shipment has been held up for longer than I expected! 

As well as semi-precious stones I have bought Karen Silver ~ each piece is handmade by a hill tribe in Thailand and has a wonderful 'unpolished' finish.  I love Sterling Silver too but somehow Karen Silver has a more rustic finish which works so well with my summer range. 

Key looks to come : turquoise, Karen silver, burnt oranges, Pearls, leather and waxed cord stringing materials, beautiful silver clasps.

May gets off to a good start; I have received two out of my three orders and can now get started on my Summer range. 

Apologies to anybody trying to purchase using PayPal.  The extra security changes have been a little slow to implement but at least we will all be safe in the knowledge that any purchases made via PP will be very secure!
